Weronika Kania (@kaniaothai.tattoo) – new Loveink Ambassador!

It’s time to introduce the third Ambassador of the 7th edition of the Loveink competition.

Meet an artist who explored different blackwork styles—only to return to the one that felt truly hers. Bold lines, strong contrast, dotwork shading, and controlled chaos refined with surgical precision—that’s 100% Weronika.

Introducing Weronika Kania (@kaniaothai.tattoo) – a tattoo artist with five years of experience, gained not only in Poland but also across different parts of the world, working alongside outstanding artists.

Her work is bold, expressive, and uncompromising—yet technically thoughtful and refined. A combination of instinct, craftsmanship, and genuine passion.

We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her story better.

What made you join the Loveink Ambassador project?

Some time ago, I discovered and truly appreciated Loveink products. When I heard about the Ambassador competition, I thought it would be amazing to collaborate with a company I genuinely believe in and respect.

How did your passion for tattooing begin?

I’ve always been involved in artistic activities. During my studies, in Hel, I met a tattoo artist who worked out of a camping trailer. She was tattooing my brother using the handpoke technique. Watching the whole process, we both got completely hooked. Before we even got back home, a package with all the necessary equipment was already waiting for us.

That’s how my story started.

I began with handpoke, but quickly switched to a machine—patience has its limits. Today, I can’t imagine doing anything else. If I don’t tattoo for a few days, I literally start dreaming about it. Once, a friend even caught me “transferring a stencil” in my sleep.

It’s not an easy job, but I feel incredibly lucky that life led me in this direction.

What style do you love the most?

I grew up around traditional tattooers, and my heart will probably always belong to old school. Bold needles, juicy lines. I truly believe nothing ages better than traditional.

A tattoo you never get tired of?

Scorpions. I always manage to create a different, interesting version, and I’m always happy with the final result.

Is there a tattoo you would refuse to do?

I believe there’s no such thing as good or bad taste—everyone is simply different. My job is to deliver the highest technical quality, regardless of the motif or style.

However, symbols and signs of hate are my boundary. I always refuse those.

Do you remember your first tattoo?

I did it on myself, cautiously on my foot. It’s a small symbol. I trust my past self that it meant something good at the time.

Which tattoo are you most proud of?

Recently, one became especially meaningful to me—a “13” for my mom. It’s her lucky number. Many people in our family have it, but when my mom—after winning her battle with illness—asked me to tattoo it on her, it was deeply emotional. The origin of that number was literally sitting in my chair.

Your biggest success?

After just a year and a half of professional tattooing, one of the best studios in Melbourne offered me a collaboration. I was able to learn from truly outstanding tattoo artists, travel, and grow.

Today, my measure of success is satisfied clients and the fact that I can work calmly, consciously, and on my own terms.

What inspires you the most?

People. When I see someone doing something impressive, I immediately feel a surge of energy and new ideas.

Your favorite Loveink product?

Definitely the butter—especially the papaya one. I use it daily at work. Privately, I’ve also fallen in love with the raspberry body oil.

What is currently the biggest challenge in the tattoo industry?

The fight for artistry. A tattoo shouldn’t be a copy. With my education, experience, and passion, I’m here to create something original, unique, and personal.

Weronika, welcome aboard. 🖤
We’re so happy to have you with us.
